Team Heatwave, two fire fighters from Manchester Airport have successfully rowed across the Atlantic Ocean in 75 days. Dean Jagger and Neil Gyllenship completed their three-thousand-mile charity row to raise money for Claire House Children’s Hospice, St Annes Hospice and children’s charity, Childflight.

Neil and Dean sung great praises about the Oarsome Potential Grips, citing the grips as their best purchase second to Sudocrem! The brave pair used the grips from a few days in to the race, and were absolutely delighted with them. When it comes to durability these guys have certainly put the Oarsome Potential Grips through their paces! We are so proud to have helped these Oarsome Rowers and so pleased they loved the grips as much as we do!!

The pair finished in tenth place out of 38 competitors, the first fire fighters to complete the challenge – a gallant effort considering neither had ever rowed before, prior to entering the challenge. More information on the Oarsome Pair at: www.team-heatwave.com
